ColourPop Addict and Blood Lippie Stix Swatches

Nothing to disclose, I purchased the product.

These lippie stix are from the Rumor Has It collection.   I didn't get Pinch, but probably should have bought that instead of Addict.

First two are outside, no flash.  Slightly overcast.

Next two are inside, no flash

ColourPop's color descriptions
Addict - super light nude in a creme finish
Blood - deep burgundy red in a matte finish   I'd consider this more a blue based red, an everyday red. Great shade, just not burgundy in my book.

plus the third that I didn't buy
Pinch - light pinky-beige in a matte finish

I'll wear Blood often, it's a great shade that I'd wear daily.  This is my idea of a regular red, but I do tend to favor darker lip shades.   Addict will be passed on to a friend who can easily wear nudes.

Hope you've found the swatches helpful, and thanks for looking.

ColourPop Highlighters - 5 Swatches

Nothing to disclose, I purchased the product.

I purchased five different highlight shades, $8 each.  I don't contour and highlight simply because I couldn't be bothered, and my skin can't handle layers of product and look decent for more than a couple of hours.   On hot days, I use a bit less foundation and/or concealer over my rosacea, so a highlighter over the reddest areas can make it look like well placed blush if I'm lucky.

Monster arrived cracked; I didn't contact customer service about it because I figured it would be easy enough to press it with a fingertip or brush back together, which I did after doing my swatch.

Close ups

ColourPop's color descriptions.  Note all these shades are a pearlized finish.

Stole the Show - Light cool-toned gold with luminous flashes of pink, silver and gold
Monster -  light pink with highly opalescent duo chrome finish
Hippo -  soft cool-toned icy lavender
Smokin' Whistles -  cool-toned pink champagne with silver highlights
Spoon -  light silver champagne with multi-dimensional silver flecks

I wasn't too crazy about Smokin' Whistles or Spoon when I first applied them, but after sitting with them on my arm (and rubbing off on my shirt a bit) I do like the shades.  They first appear a bit too peachy on me, but Smokin' Whistles does turn more pink and Spoon looks more like a plethora of sparkle in an almost sheer cream base after they've settled in.  The other three shades I adore and will use often.

I hope you've found the swatches helpful, and thanks for looking.

ColourPop Rumer has It plus Birthday Girl Swatches

Nothing to disclose, I purchased the product.  Birthday Girl was a GWP.

I purchased the bottom four shades, Swan, Ice, Feather, and Raven, along with Blood lippie stick, then a second order for Jet, Intoxicate, and Addict lippie stick.  Birthday Girl was a free gift with purchase to celebrate ColourPop's first birthday.

Swan arrived in one piece but got tossed around while waiting for me to get to it, so it's cracked now, but still perfectly usable.

I didn't swatch the lippies because after washing off the shadows, my arm was blotchy and not a good canvas for a second round of swatches.  The lighter shades removed easily with my usual coconut oil and a bit of Cetaphil bar soap.  The darker shades required a bit more effort, which caused the redness.  A base under these darker shades is always a good idea.

closer photos

The last is the "down the arm" shot to show the sparkle.

ColourPop's color descriptions:
Swan - soft creamy white with tons of silver glitter and hints pink duo chrome glitter in a Metallic finish
Ice -  true silver with tons of multi-dimensional highly reflective glitter in a Metallic finish
Feather - true liquid gunmetal in an Ultra Metallic finish
Raven -  intense black lightly dusted with silver flecks in a Metallic finish
Jet -  almost black with the slightest hint of warmth in a Matte finish
Intoxicate - caramel brown in a Matte finish
Birthday Girl -  no official description, but it's a light brown with golden/bronze shimmer, metallic finish
