Silk Naturals Bare Necessities Set 3 Swatches

Nothing to disclose, I purchased the product shown.

I bought the  Silk Naturals Bare Necessities Set 3  shortly after it was released, but haven't broken the shadows open til now.  I'd previously purchased both Naked 1 and Naked Basics and sold them due to only liking 1 or 2 shades in each.  I was hesitant to jump in on Naked 3, despite everyone raving about it, so I decided to go with the Silk Naturals dupes instead.  The UD set is $54, Silk Naturals is $39.99, and when I bought it, I used a coupon code for another 7% off.  I also received two free shadows and a lip slick stick with my order (not shown below).

Shadows applied using a dampened wet/dry brush on bare skin. No flash, overcast with sun poking in & out. Here's the first 6 shades.

this one was taken outside, no flash - sun poked out & washed it out a bit.

And the next 6, also applied using a dampened wet/dry brush on bare skin, same conditions.

and outside, no flash

Sorry my photos are a bit dark, storms are moving in and the ever moving clouds made it difficult to get photos that were bright enough. I use Photobucket to crop/straighten/label my photos, but fiddling with the brightness on them always makes them look funny to me, so I just leave them as is.

For the lighter shades, Cache and Analog are my favorites and will get the most use. Torrent is too metallic for my liking. For the darker shades, I like all but Virtual, which I think will work for me if I tone down the shimmer by applying it lightly.

All in all, I'm quite pleased with the arm swatches, now to start wearing them! Hope you've found the photos helpful, and thanks for looking.
